The Essential Recordings

Opis

The Essential RecordingsOpis:Lionel Hampton will always be remembered as a unique and inventive artist, and for many years, the only vibes player in jazz music. He will also be remembered as a musician who nurtured and encouraged the young talent that was to change the course and direction of modern jazz, whilst Hamp's jump-boogie recordings of the late 1940s laid the foundation for contemporary R 'n' B.
