Ceilidh

Opis

CeilidhOpis:Fancy a barn dance in your bedroom or a shindig in your kitchen? Ceilidh, the new album from Tickled Pink, enfants terribles of the English folk dance scene, has arrived. After the success of their innovative first two albums, Tickled Pink and Terpsichore Polyhymnia, Ceilidh showcases precisely the live sound of the band. The album features a variety of tunes from their dance repertoire, from traditional favourites including' Buttered Peas' and 'Drops of Brandy', to numbers written by members of the band and other contemporary musicians, such as Simon Care's 'Burning Bridges' and Dave Whetstone's 'Fretful Porcupine'. In styles ranging from rock to reggae to Latin, Ceilidh will have your toes tapping or your head banging, depending on how you normally express yourself. The album contains 13 tracks, all of which are at full dance length, so grab some friends, turn it up, and ceilidh on down! Tickled Pink are Simon Care (melodeons), Mark Jolley (violin), Gerald Claridge and Mark Hutchinson (guitars), Rob Kay (keyboards), Trevor Landen (bass) and Guy Fletcher (drums).
