Ludwig Van Beethoven: Sonatas Opp. 5, 69, 102/...

Opis:Product DescriptionPablo Casals' (1876-1973) recordings of Beethoven s complete music for cello and piano with that other musical legend, the American (but Hungarian born and educated in Vienna) pianist Rudolf Serkin, now in vastly improved sound.

ReviewCasals s famous partners were Cortot and Thibaud; Serkin s, Adolf Busch and his quartet. But the two musicians alliance at the Prades festival in the 1950s was also a perfect marriage, as these well-filled discs of Beethoven s five sonatas and three sets of variations satisfyingly demonstrate. Serkin is at his delectable best, Casals s rhythmic energy is as great as ever: remember the cello s prodigious first entry in the 1938 Dvorak concerto. --David Cairns The Sunday Times, 14th May 2017Autor:Pablo CasalsNośnik:Audio CDPłyt:Język: English: Original Language; EnglishData wydania: 2017-06-23Waga: 0.22 gramWysokość: 0.4 cmSzerokość: 4.9 cmDługość: 5.6 cmNew Store StockUWAGA: Kupując produkt na tej aukcji zgadzasz się na wydłużony termin realizacji wysyłki (10-14 dni roboczych).
