Hits of '60, It's Now Or NeverOpis:The Swinging Sixties swept the Fabulous Fifties aside, ushering in a momentous decade indeed. "It s Now Or Never"; our 30 instant time-capsules will whisk you back to 1960, the first year of the Swinging Sixties . 25 of them were Number Ones in either the British or the American charts or, in the case of The Everly Brothers Cathy s Clown, Johnny Preston s Running Bear, and of course Elvis It s Now Or Never, both. This is an unsurpassable single CD survey of all the year s biggest hits, as originally performed by the actual artists on those old cherished 45s. Rock n Roll was still energizing the charts, but ballads, revivals, R&B, teeny-bop, instrumentals, doo-wop, country all were there as well. Maybe you were there too and, as you listen to Elvis, Don & Phil, Cliff and the rest, just for 79 minutes you can relive those far off days of . . . is it really half a century ago?
