74 ClubOpis:This Otis Trio from the industrial outskirts of São Paulo are finally releasing their long awaited first full-length album, '74 Club' on the great Far Out label.

The result of this work is nothing but exceptional. Otis Trio proves to be one of the most intense and active jazz ensembles in the contemporary Brazilian music scene. With a wide range of influences such as bop, post-bop and free jazz bursting forth from their pieces with such elegance and personality, their sound is instantly recognizable as an 'Otis Trio' sound whether we are listening to a quick and relaxed track or a complex jazz attack. With '74 Club', Otis Trio shows how resolute their project is, with such intense and extraordinary themes, they know exactly where to lead their unique musical expression and passion. Far Out Recordings is proud to bring the first of hopefully many more offerings by these amazing jazz cats.
