Blur The Line

Opis

Blur The LineOpis:Review"a narcotic and poetic take on Fleetwood Mac's 'Tusk' with Jack White on fuzz and Phil Spector on shotgun" -- NME" represents another teenage snarl from the four piece. Expanding their songwriting palette, there are tinges of Fleetwood Mac here alongside the odd Neil Young flourish." -- clashmusic"Encompassing garage-rock, low-rent country, and girl-group pop…Those Darlins' fizzy twang 'n' crunch guarantees an exhilarating time throughout." -- Mother Jones"Those Darlins moved out of the garage and into the studio" -- bestnewbands"Every track is damn near a standout" -- caughtinthecarousel"[Blur The Line] does ragged, blue-collar Southern rock so perfectly that everyone else should just give up now." --easternsufmagazine Product Description"Blur The Line" feels like an eponymous debut. This record is not a departure, nor is it simply growth. It is a realization purely of where Those Darlins are as artists right now. After sophomore record "Screws Get Loose", Jesse, Nikki and Linwood set out to uncover the true complex, contradictory nature of themselves as individuals and as a band. The result is a record to file on your shelf between Patti Smith "Easter" and Fleetwood Mac's "Tusc". "Blur The Line" is a first-rate album of powerful tracks that mingle heavy rhythms and distorted Neil Young guitars with ear-candy harmonies and a slew of captivating lyrics. The band called on Roger Moutenot (Yo La Tenga, John Cale, Jeff The Brotherhood) to produce "Blur The Line" and it turned out to be a revelation...a chance to stretch and give shape to their work with his supportive, laid back demeanor and experienced hands at the helm. also available:Screws Get Loose OWD004Autor:Those DarlinsNośnik:Audio CDPłyt:Język: English: Published; English: Original Language; EnglishData wydania: 2013-10-21Waga: 0.14 gramWysokość: 0.2 cmSzerokość: 4.9 cmDługość: 5.6 cmNew Store StockUWAGA: Kupując produkt na tej aukcji zgadzasz się na wydłużony termin realizacji wysyłki (10-14 dni roboczych).
