American Soul 1962 [Double Cd]

Opis

American Soul 1962 [Double CD]Opis:It was still called R&B in the 1950s, aka rhythm and blues. But by the time the 1960s rolled around, it had acquired a new name: soul music. The name reflected the music's roots in gospel, and also the importance of vocal sincerity. If it didn't sound like you really meant it, it didn't have soul. Here you'll find an impressive roster of the major soul artists of that era... and while the songs in this selection may not be the biggest hits of the artists in question, this 2-CD set is, without doubt, a fantastic collection of early soul material at its very finest.
