Sinfonia N.3 D 200, N.4 D 417Opis:Product Description On his first recording for harmonia mundi, conductor Pablo Heras-Casado, whose conducting career encompasses the great symphonic and operatic repertoire, historically informed performance and cutting-edge contemporary scores, offers a fresh look at the symphonies of Franz Schubert. Leading the period-instrument Freiburger Barockorchester, Heras-Casado pairs the light hearted Symphony No.3 of 1815, which ends with a Rossini an tarantella, with the darker Symphony No.4, written one year later and looking more towards Beethoven. Echoing the fourth symphony's subtitle, it is indeed tragic that this symphony, like all his others, was never played in public in the composer's lifetime. Principal Conductor of the Orchestra of St Luke's since 2012, Heras-Casado makes his debuts with the Metropolitan Opera and New York Philharmonic in in the 2013/14 season.

Review There s no doubting the drama and excitement of the playing... Heras-Casado manages it very well, paying effective attention to Schubert s tension-filled pianissimo writing. He brings admirable lightness... vivid performances, and very well recorded. --Misha Donat, BBC Music Magazine November 2013'The symphonies are played with great vigour and dramaticism. Heras-Casado leads the orchestra with precision and unfailing direction.' --Pete Trewin, Hi-Fi + April 2014Autor:Franz SchubertNośnik:Audio CDPłyt:Język: Data wydania: 2013Waga: 0.27 gramWysokość: 0.5 cmSzerokość: 5 cmDługość: 5.6 cmUWAGA: Kupując produkt na tej aukcji zgadzasz się na wydłużony termin realizacji wysyłki (10-14 dni roboczych).
