Revelation RoadOpis:Review"..a career standout.." -- The Daily Mirror"..a word from the album titles describes it perfectly - revelation" -- The Sun 4.5/5"..courageous, arresting.." -- The Observer"Lynne writes and produces 11 Bobby Gentry-ish numbers that prove her country-soul is intact" -- Independent On Sunday**** Four Stars -- UncutProduct Description"Shelby Lynne makes you woozy, and you can't help it. We prefer to think of her as indie as heck, as resolutely so as the band hiding away in the basement, making music it loves away from the prying eyes of The Man. The forearms have sinew, the voice is backed by steel and Lynne is in full control. Of everything," said the Chicago Tribune. "Try to find a female vocalist with a more heart-worn and affecting voice; I dare you," said Oxford American editors, placing Lynne at #3 on their list of the Top 15 Contemporary Alabama acts. 'Revelation Road' is Shelby's most personal record yet. She wrote, recorded and produced the album, which leads off with the title track and first single, "Revelation Road," a stirring reflection on reckoning and redemption.
