The Best Of [Double Cd]

Opis

The Best Of [Double CD]Opis:Ultra-talented, Mel Tormé was one hell of a singer, he wrote hundreds of songs, acted in film and TV productions, wrote books and scripts, played piano and could handle a drum kit in a manner that made Gene Krupa smile! Around the time he had a hit with Comin Home Baby, Tormé boasted of other achievements, like flying his own Piper Cherokee 235 or how he could handle any one of his 200 or more Colt revolvers. As all-encompassing as this compilation is, it can only provide a glimpse of the immense talent that was Mel Tormé, a performer of whom Bing Crosby once remarked: He s the most fantastic musical performer we ve ever had ... the best musical entertainer I ve ever seen.
