The Art Of Lying (Transparent Yellow Vinyl) [Vinyl]

Opis

The Art Of Lying (Transparent Yellow Vinyl) [VINYL]Opis:The Art of Lying' is an emotional progression from the indie, physical and vinyl chart success of debut album 'Architecture'. Singles 'It Stops Where It Starts' and 'Extreme Greed' take the band's already harsh themes and sounds and using those as building blocks for even more tension and pressure; the former a synth-led throb and the latter a fuzzed-out stomper made for stadiums. Frontman Adam Houghton’s baritone vocals remain a cornerstone of the album, again coupled with driving drums beats and careering baselines. The album was written and recorded throughout 2020’s multiple lockdowns, a period bereft of live shows due to the global pandemic, which allowed IST IST to create something inspired and eclectic. It still retains their distinct and direct sound, but it's bigger and bolder than before. The cover for the album features the Eye of Shinjuku, found in a Tokyo train station. Greg Calbi (David Bowie, The National, Interpol, Bon Iver) mastered the album. Tracklisting: 1. Listening Through the Walls 2. Fat Cats Drown in Milk 3. Middle Distance 4. Watching You Watching Me 5.
