Best Of Eddie Calvert,TheOpis:The Man With The Golden Trumpet, Eddie Calvert enjoyed his musical heyday during the 1950s, topping the chart with Oh Mein Papa and Cherry Pink And Apple Blossom White. He would also register major hits with John And Julie, Mandy and Stranger In Paradise, among others. Whilst the advent of rock and roll and British beat groups brought his chart career to an end, he continued to maintain his popularity thanks to a series of world tours.
