GORILLA GLUE CLEAR for Metal, Plastic, Glass, etc.
Opis
Gorillla Glue Clear 170ml - Transparent Universal Repair AdhesiveThis listing shows pictures of several different bottle sizes, but they all contain the exact same adhesive and are used the same.
This particular listing is for a size of 170ml as seen in the photo on the left (above on mobile).
Clear Gorilla Glue bonds virtually all surfaces and is ideal for both interior and exterior applications.
Extremely strongEasy to useDries crystal clearNon-foamingWaterproofFor use on: Wood, Stone, Metal, Ceramics, Foam, Glass and moreFor non-porous surfaces only, not recommended for use on polyethylene or polypropylene plastics.
Gorilla Glue Clear can be painted with oil based paint, or spray painted. Use of acrylic / latex paint or stain may require sanding beforehand.
Before ApplyingFirst, make sure the surface is clean and free from dirt and dust before applying the glue.
Second, slightly dampen only one of the surfaces with a damp cloth. You don't want the surface to be wet, just slightly damp. Moisture will help strengthen the glue formula and stick the elements together.* Make sure the two parts or surfaces you are joining fit tightly and are non-porous.
Step 1After making sure both surfaces are clean and one of them is damp, apply a small amount of glue to the dry surface. Do not over-apply, as the adhesive will expand 3x to cover the surface when the two surfaces are joined and pressure is applied.
If you've applied too much glue, you can wipe off any excess with a dry cloth - be sure to do this before the glue dries.
Step 2Apply glue to cover about 1/3 of the surface (as shown in the photo on the left).
After applying the glue, make sure the surfaces are even and snug, then begin to slowly stick the surfaces together, making sure everything stays in place.
Slow and SteadyAs you join the surfaces together, the adhesive will automatically spread to cover the remaining surface. The slow bonding process of Gorilla Glue Clear Formula gives the user valuable seconds to ensure all is level and properly placed.
Final ChecksWhen the surfaces or elements are fully joined together, the glue will spread completely and dry transparent. Now is the last chance to check that the surfaces have been joined evenly and that the elements are properly positioned.
Wipe off any excess adhesive with a dry cloth. If the glue has already dried, it can be removed using a chisel, scraper, or sandpaper.
Final StepAfter the two surfaces are joined together and the excess glue has been removed, pressure is needed to ensure a complete bond, and connect the pieces as tightly as possible. Use a hand clamp for edges or flat surfaces. If a clamp is not available or unusable, place something heavy over the work area to apply pressure. In the case of larger projects, multiple weights should be used evenly distributed over the work area. Basically- some way of pressing the two surfaces together is needed.
Leave the surfaces clamped/weighted together for at least one hour for light work and two hours for heavier work. For full cure, leave pressure for a full 24 hours.
Between UsesAfter use, wipe the nozzle dry with a dry cloth and close the cover tightly.
Store the bottle in a cool, dry place, if possible exposed to light. Lack of light and heat can cause the product to turn yellow over time.
