And The Hula Blues [Vinyl]

Opis

And The Hula Blues [VINYL]Opis:Taj Mahal s first Hawaiian album is one of his most important accomplishments in more than one way: it pays homage to Hawaiian culture and celebrates intercultural connectivity. The album is an easygoing and charmingly profound acknowledgement of Taj Mahal s status as America s foremost practit ioner of blues/world/roots fusions. 'A cultural blend of joy, love and harmony' was how he summed up these historic recording sessions back in 1997. The new vinyl release sticks to the original musical sequence but features new liner notes with more personal recollections. The legacy of the Hula Blues Band is a significant contribution to contemporary Hawaiian music. Mo Roots!
