Opis

Live In Oslo 1969 (light green coloured 10" vinyl) [VINYL]Opis:The Nice, live on TV show ‘Fimra’, at Club 7, Kongen, Oslo, Norway October 7th 1969. Pressed on 110g light green coloured vinyl. Even the most ardent ELP fan could qualify the role of The Nice as the progenitors of the first wave of British prog rock bands that collectively peaked in the early 70s and was, on the whole, in serious decline by 1975. As such, The Nice should be revered for their courage and ingenuity at a time when many sought commercial reward alone. Artistic merit aside, The Nice live on NRK’s ‘Filmra’ TV show, Club 7, Kongen, Oslo on October 7th 1969 is a thrilling romp of unadulterated prog rock hedonism. However, authenticity like this comes at a price and The Nice would be no more within a few weeks, about eight to be exact! London Calling very proudly presents a vital piece of British rock history with The Nice in Norway, in 1969.
