For You My Love

Opis

FOR YOU MY LOVEOpis:Usually known as the most reclusive of the legendary Nolan Sisters, it’s been over 43 years since Denise Nolan left the singing sister act to pursue a solo career and to coincide with her 60th year in showbiz, she’s finally gearing up to release her critically-acclaimed debut studio album, For You, My Love. This stunning new album showcases Denise’s impeccable vocal talents, with a powerful collection of beautiful love songs and standards that have each won a place in heart over the years, from the Great American Songbook and beyond, just in time for Valentine’s Day! Described by Denise as a “total labour of love”, she recorded this album as an ode to Great American Songbook and Frank Sinatra, who she had the honour of touring with back in 1975. Denise says “This album is full of the songs I’ve loved in my life, sung for the people who mean the most to me. It was a very emotional album for me to record, as there’s a story behind every song, celebrating life, love and loss - the darkest and happiest moments of life.” Track Listing: 1. You, My Love; 2. In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning; 3. Someone to Watch over Me; 4. With a Song in My Heart; 5. I’ll Be Seeing You; 6. Love Is a Many Splendoured Thing; 7. The Man I Love; 8. I Fall in Love too Easily; 9. I’ve Got it Bad and that Ain’t Good; 10. My Funny Valentine; 11. The Folks Who Live on the Hill; 12. Every Time We Say Goodbye.
