Portrait Of My Love

Opis

Portrait Of My LoveOpis:When Matt's daughter, Michele Monro, penned a biography detailing her father s life she called it The Singer's Singer. This is borne out by his peers' high praise. Paul McCartney hailed Matt as a great artist ; Bing Crosby named him as one of his three favourite singers; while Frank Sinatra was ever effusive about Matt's vocal ability, claiming his pitch was right on the nose, his word enunciations letter perfect, his understanding of a song thorough. The Monro story is now part of British pop-lore.
