YOUNG, NEIL - CARNEGIE HALL 1970

Opis

W ciągu długiej i bogatej kariery Neila Younga kilka specjalnych pokazów zyskało niemal mityczną reputację dzięki wątpliwej, ale jednak docenianej (z perspektywy czasu) praktyce bootleggingu. Carnegie Hall, pierwsze wydanie Neil Young Official Bootleg Series, nagrane na oryginalnym analogowym multitracku, zostało zmiksowane przez „The Volume Dealers” – Neila Younga i Niko Bolasa. Bogata setlista koncertu obejmuje jedną z najbardziej szanowanych epok w karierze Younga, z uproszczonymi wersjami utworów „Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere”, „Down By the River”, „Helpless” i „Sugar Mountain” oraz „After the Goldrush”, z albumu o tej samej nazwie, wydanego zaledwie dziewięć tygodni przed występem w Carnegie Hall. Neil gra nawet przejmujące piosenki „Bad Fog of Loneliness”, „Old Man” i „See the Sky About to Rain”, zanim zostały nagrane i wydane. Carnegie Hall to album pełen perełek.
